The Spanish Tax Agency has recently expressed their will to intensify the control on Income Tax and Wealth Tax Payments of the NON-RESIDENTS.
It is very likely that from now on the Tax Office will release a range of new economic and human resources in order to detect those who fail to comply with their Tax Obligations.
If you are a NON-Resident, you will be liable for Tax Payment in the followin cases:
- If you own one or more properties in Spain
- If you have earnings coming from:
your assets: properties in Spain, your shares or stock options of Spanish companies.
your work: when it is a personal activity carried out in Spain (f.ex. artists, sportsmen)
your rendering of Services used in Spain (f.ex. technical assistance, projects, studies)
your operations or economic activities, while not having your permanent office in Spain.
Moreover, if you are a NON-Resident, you should be aware of the legal changes carried out in 2007 which will affect you directly while selling or renting out a property in Spain.
The PRIDE-Team is highly professional and experienced in this area and can assist and advise you in the fulfilment of the a.m. Tax Obligations but also to respect any other Tax Obligation like in Resident's Income Tax or the Local Taxes (IBI, Rubbish Collection Fees)
